Plot: A valuable necklace has been stolen, and bumbling private eye Sam Grunion is assigned the task of finding it. He meets an odd assortment of rollicking characters as he carries out his search, including a mute kleptomaniac, a cash-poor comedy troupe and of course, a dangerous blonde. Wackiness, hijinks and pratfalls abound, as Grunion's investigation turns New York City upside down.
