For the past four years KERR SMITH has played Jack McPhee on the WB network's Dawson's Creek. His feature film credits include the recent hit thriller "Final Destination" for new Line Cinema, prior to which he appeared in two independent features, the romantic comedy "Hit and Runway," which was awarded the Screenwriters Award at last year's Los Angeles International Film Festival, "The Broken Hearts Club: A Romantic Comedy" for Sony Pictures Classics and the Improvisational comedy "Kiss and Tell."
A native of Exton, a Philadelphia suburb, Smith was a top athlete, competing in baseball and snow skiing. In high school he was class president for three of his four years. Smith went on to receive his B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Vermont and worked for a time for his father's marketing firm as financial advisor, before deciding to pursue an acting career. After moving to New York he quickly landed roles on television in soap operas as well as national spots for Gateway Computers and Carl's Jr.
The Canadian born Fehr has appeared for the past two seasons in the WB drama Roswell. He was raised in New Westminster in British Columbia, and was a top athlete and student, who was contemplating a career as a teacher. But after moving to Winnipeg, he was encouraged to try modeling, which led to his first acting role, a guest shot on the series Breaker High. Since then he has appeared in the series Millenium, and such television movies as "Our guys," "Perfect Little Angels" and "Every Mother's Worst Fear." Feature credits include "Disturbing Behavior," "Flight 180" and "Christian's House." Fehr currently resides in Los Angeles.
