Plot: Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis cause their usual amount of chaos in this military comedy. A general, fed up with the low quality of the shows put on by his men, threatens to end the entertainment unless the performances improve. As a result, paratrooper Chick Allen calls on his old vaudeville partner, Hap Smith, to sneak into his camp and help out. However, the bumbling Hap must be passed off as a real paratrooper in order for the plan to work -- and this crazy charade inevitably leads to lots of hilarious confusion. Before long, Hap finds himself parachuting behind enemy lines to capture a general.
