JAKE WEBER (Lt. Hirsch) is a cum laude graduate of Middlebury College where he studied English Literature and Political Science. He went on to attend the prestigious Julliard School as well as study at Russia's famed Moscow Art Theater before embarking upon his professional acting career.

He appeared on Broadway in A Small Family Business and many off-Broadway productions including two plays written and directed by John Patrick Shanley-- Missing/Kissing and The Big Funk --as well as Mad Forest which was nominated for an Obie. In addition, he starred in the New York Shakespeare Festival's productions of As You Like It, which earned him the 1992 Calloway Award, Othello and Richard III. Most recently, he starred in The Rivals at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.

Oliver Stone's Born On the Fourth Of July marked his feature film debut. He went on to appear in such movies as Sidney Lumet's A Stranger Among Us, Alan J. Pakula's The Pelican Brief, Dangerous Beauty and Martin Brest's Meet Joe Black. Some of his independent features include Cherry, which also starred Shalom Harlowe, and the soon-to-be-released Into My Heart. He most recently appeared opposite John Cusack in Pushing Tin.

For television Weber starred in the Emmy-nominated What The Deaf Man Heard for the Hallmark Hall of Fame. He also was a series regular on American Gothic and Something Wilder.

Weber makes his home in New York City.
