Plot: Selfish Stanley Timberlake abruptly breaks up with her fiancé and seduces her sister's husband, who runs away with her. After the wayward spouse gets divorced, he marries the wicked woman, but her lying, cheating ways soon drive him to suicide. Then Stanley returns home to her family, where she continues to wreak havoc on those around her. Guilty of killing a child in a hit-and-run accident, Stanley wrongly accuses a black man of the crime, but eventually the truth catches up with her.
