ROBIN TUNNEY (Abby Laramie) is probably best known for her first leading role, as Sarah in the 1996 cult hit “The Craft.” Since then she has worked in both independent films and major studio features. She won best actress at the 1997 Venice Film Festival for her portrayal of a young woman with Tourette Syndrome in “Niagara, Niagara.” She was nominated for best actress at the 1998 Independent Spirit Awards for the same performance.
Tunney had leading roles in the action films “End of Days” and “Vertical Limit.” She was in the Sundance favorite “Cherish” and Alan Rudolph’s “The Secret Lives of Dentists.” In 2003, Tunney appeared in “The In-Laws” opposite Michael Douglas. She next appears in the independent film “In Control of All Things” and as a special guest star in the Bryan Singer-helmed pilot “House,” which will air this fall on Fox TV.
