Plot: Melodrama flows thick and heavy on the set of "The Love Judge", a daily "Divorce Court"-like soap opera. And behind the scenes, the production crew's relationships are even more theatrical. Producer Jo is leaving for Prague, so Paula and Mark both clamor after her job. Mark, who has recently come out of mourning for his deceased lover, lusts after Bill, who still loves Kelly -- but that hasn't stopped him from secretly sleeping with Jeremy, who is Mark's best friend.

While couples battle in front of the camera, these coworkers and lovers spar, avoiding and confronting the wreckage of AIDS in their lives.
