 Director Anderson keeps this one moving and after a slow start it becomes one of the best fright flicks of the year which is thanks to an interesting enough script, a strong cast and some killer sequences and effects. ... An effective film that gets a little silly near the end but is an entertaining time. [read review]

The story plods along a little too slowly, however, ranking this film under the first three "Hellraiser" films—from which it borrows heavily. Of course, it isn't as good as the first two "Alien" films either, but it's certainly worth a rental. [read review]
