Courageous mountain man John McKenna has mystical powers and a fierce commitment to the wildlife of Tanglewood Mountain. A band of teenagers, in the meantime, fancy themselves as younger versions of this "Forest Warrior."
When the youths hear news that money-hungry land developers plan to obliterate the fragile range, they request McKenna's assistance in fending off the developers. He immediately heeds the naturalists' call.
Now it's an all-out contest to see whether the environment and its protectors can impede "progress."
