Plot: The son of a Florida fisherman nurses an injured dolphin. Their relationship develops into true friendship as the animal returns to health. But when the father orders that the dolphin be returned to his natural habitat, the boy is disappointed. Flipper returns, however, to save the day at a drastic moment, sealing the bond that the son always knew was there.
