 Synopses for Finder's Fee (2001)
1.Jeff Probst, host of TV's Survivor, wrote and directed this tense drama which unfolds in real time. After finding a wallet in the street and locating the owner, a young man (Erik Palladino) realizes that it contains a lottery ticket worth six million dollars. When the players arrive at his apartment for a poker game--in which they players bet lottery tickets--he realizes that the owner of the wallet is among the players.

Money changes everything - and everyone... in this riveting psychological thriller from writer/director Jeff Probst and featuring a fine ensemble cast. After Tepper (Erik Palladino) finds a wallet, he contacts the owner. But when the lottery ticket inside inside is worth $6 million, all bets are off. The stakes are raised as Tepper and his poker buddies (Matthew Lillard, Ryan Reynolds) bet lottery tickets in their weekly poker games. They match wits with the wallet's owner (James Earl Jones) in a tense game of "Last Man Standing." Does anyone besides Tepper know about the winning ticket? And how far will they go to get it? There's only one sure thing: On a $6 million playing field, greed is the ultimate leveler.
