Plot: Sidney Lumet's DANIEL is fictionalized retelling of the true of story of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, who were executed as Soviet spies in the 1950s. Told from their son's point of view, who in the film is a '60s Vietnam war protester, the movie is based on the novel, THE BOOK OF DANIEL by E.L. Doctorow.
