At the age of eighteen, LEELEE SOBIESKI has become the breakthrough actress of the past year. Sobieski appeared as a young nymphet opposite Tom Cruise in director Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut for Warner Bros. She received rave reviews for her performance opposite Drew Barrymore in Fox 2000's Never Been Kissed, and took the lead in the Merchant-Ivory production A Soldier's Daughter Never Cries in which she demonstrated her fluent French.
Sobieski garnered both a Golden Globe and an Emmy nomination for her portrayal of the legendary Joan of Arc in the top-rate twenty million dollar CBS mini-series.
She was most recently seen starring in director Mark Piznarski's romantic drama Here on Earth, for Fox 2000. She immediately segued into the thriller Joy Ride, directed by John Dahl, as well as The Glass House.
