JEREMY PIVEN plays Arnie, Jack's suburban neighbor and best friend. Piven is an accomplished actor with numerous film, television and theatrical credits to his name. He recently starred in Peter Berg's dark comedy Very Bad Things. His other feature film credits include Grosse Pointe Blank, Kiss the Girls, Michael Mann's Heat, The Crew, The Player, Singles, White Palace, The Grifters, and Say Anything among others. Piven recently completed Serendipity, starring opposite John Cusack.
On the small screen, Piven recently starred in and produced the ABC series Cupid. Piven was a series regular on the critically acclaimed The Larry Sanders Show for HBO playing the head writer and a series regular on Ellen. His other television credits include the HBO telepic Only in America: The Life and Crimes of Don King, Chicago Hope and Seinfield. Piven founded The New Criminal Theater Company with John Cusack in Chicago in 1988, which evolved into the film production entity New Crime Productions. As an actor with the theater company, Piven's credits include "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," "Peacekeeper," "Methusalem," "Knuckle," "Macbeth" "Alagazam...After the Dog Wars," and "Carnage."
