Finishing her fifth season on "Saturday Night Live," Oteri is probably best known for her portrayal of Arianna, the female half of the Spartan Spirit cheerleader squad, as well as Cass Van Ry, the hyperactive co-host of the fictional talk show "Morning Latte." Her other popular characters include: Rita, the self-appointed mayor of her street who polices local neighborhood children, and the prescription-addled Collette Reardon. Her hysterical impressions of Barbara Walters and Judge Judy have both been cheered by TV Guide. Other memorable impersonations include Mariah Carey, Paula Jones, and Ross Perot.
Oteri was most recently seen starring in Walt Disney Pictures' "Inspector Gadget," with Matthew Broderick. Joely Fisher, and Rupert Everett. Directed by David Kellogg, the adventure comedy was based on the popular cartoon character of the same name, a mild mannered security guard who, after a tragic accident, is rebuilt into a human Swiss Army Knife. Oteri played The Mayor, who must call on Inspector Gadget to help save the world.
Upcoming, in addition to SCARY MOVIE, Oteri will co-star in the romantic comedy which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival, "Love & Sex," with Famke Janssen and Jon Favreau. Written and directed by Valerie Breiman, the film traces the ups and downs of a magazine writers relationships through the years as she tries to complete a story on finding the perfect man. Oteri plays Mary, who is the best friend and confidant of the writer.
Oteri previously co-starred as the hapless, hairstyle challenged receptionist in the blockbuster hit "Liar, Liar," and also appeared in Joe Dante's "Small Soldiers."
In addition to her acclaimed work on Saturday Night Live, Oteri made one of last seasons most memorable guest starring appearances as a secretary-from hell on the breakout NBC situation comedy, "Just Shoot Me."
Prior to joining Saturday Night Live, Oteri was a member of the Los Angeles- based improv/sketch comedy group, The Groundlings.
A native of Philadelphia, Oteri currently lives in New York and Los Angeles.
