Plot: In this 1960s comedy, Freddy Benson (Marlon Brando) and Lawrence Jameson (David Niven) are two charming scoundrel gigolos who prey on wealthy single women as they vacation on the French Riviera. The pair join a playful competition with other con men to see who is best at the job, and the target is perkily cute Janet Walker (Shirley Jones), better known as the "American Soap Queen." They find, however, that claiming their "prize" becomes more difficult than it seems.
