When Matthew and Liz broke up, Matthew found himself severely traumatized by the loss. He could not get her out of his mind, until he found himself obsessing over her. Soon enough, though, he met Corey. She made him realize that he could move on with his life. But Liz suddenly discovers the loss of Matthew's obsession is heartbreaking, and sets out to make sure that he will never forget her.

Obsession Burns Beyond Control.
Ever since their break-up months ago, Matthew has not left Liz alone. Devastated by their parting, he has slept outside her apartment and followed her every move. Frightened of his obsessive behavior, Liz looks to Garrett for protection. But when Matthew starts dating Cory and his obsession with Liz fades, the tables are turned and they discover the dark side of attraction.
