JONATHAN FRAKES (Director) has directed and starred in the feature films "Star Trek: Insurrection" and "Star Trek: First Contact." He also played Commander William T. Riker on the Emmy award-winning television series "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and in the film "Star Trek: Generations." Frakes will reprise the role in "Star Trek: Nemesis," the next feature film in the series.
Frakes' multifaceted career includes executive producing and directing the hit series "Roswell" and directing numerous episodes of "Star Trek: The Next Generation," "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" and "Star Trek: Voyager."
In front of the television camera, Frakes has made numerous guest-starring appearances including roles on "3rd Rock from the Sun," "Wings," "Matlock," "Highway To Heaven," "Remington Steele." "The Fall Guy," "Quincy," "Hill Street Blues," "Hart to Hart," "Falcon Crest," "The Waltons" and "Charlie's Angels."
Frakes had a recurring role on the series "The Lot," and can also be seen hosting Dick Clark's "Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction?" An accomplished trombone player, Frakes was also featured on the Phish release Hoist.
