Plot: Bangles vocalist Susanna Hoffs is Molly, the valedictorian at a Pacific college who realizes on the eve of graduation that she didn't get around to a significant college romance for all her schoolwork. Setting out to remedy the situation, she embarks on a last minute fling with a faded 60's rock star (Michael Ontkean). Meanwhile her pretty blonde roommate, Val (Dedee Pfeiffer) has an affair with a yuppie, and spunky, witty friend Gina (Joan Cusack) records their shenanigans for posterity with a video camera. Director/co-screenwriter Tamar Simon Hoffs, who attempt to recreate the spirit of 1960's beach film, is star Susanna's mother.
