Plot: Kirk Douglas stars as the mythical hero Ulysses, in this grand adaptation of Homer's epic poem.

Told in flashbacks, this heroic tale follows the valiant general as he returns home following the Greek victory in the Trojan War. En route, Ulysses and his crew get lost in the labyrinth of islands that lie between Troy and his homeland. They have to survive dangerous waters and perilous adventures before they see the shores their beloved kingdom of Ithaca once again.
