Plot: Caterina (Margherita Buy) is a nun preparing to take her final vows. Stumbling across an abandoned baby, Catera takes care of the infant while she searches for the child's family. This leads her to Ernesto who assists in the parental search as well as Caterina's search for her own beliefs. Caterina's journey through the working class of Milan brings her to a realization that those who have beliefs not of this world are still bound by humanity and the span of human emotions.
