Deep Red Reviews |
Never has another Giallo gone into as great psychologically detail as Deep Red. The camerawork gives a marvelous effect to the film. Truly there has never been a better music score than Giorgio Gaslini and Goblin's, that inspired directors like John Carpenter. [read review] --David Rivera (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
"Deep Red" combines images of child-like innocence with deep, hardcore horror, creating an unnerving and amazing fear film. The cinematography is incredible. The music is incredible. The acting is ... well ... what you'd expect from an Italian horror film. ... Argento never made a better movie. [read review] -- (eSplatter.com)
A decent Argento film, but not as good as his other stuff. Drags on a bit, but has some interesting deaths and ways of finding clues left behind. Worth a rent if you're a fan of Dario Argento. [read review] 6/10 --FrighT MasteR (UHM)
It's as good a film can get within the genre of thrills and bloody mayhem, but it is also a work of pure style with very little substance and depth. [read review] -- (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
