ROB MINKOFF (Director/Executive Producer) made his live action and CGI effects film debut with “Stuart Little,” which turned out to be the most successful non-Disney family film ever made. Columbia Pictures ordered a sequel, which Minkoff directed and executive produced as part of a threeyear, first-look production deal.
Minkoff made his feature animation directorial debut with Disney’s animated blockbuster “The Lion King,” produced by Don Hahn and the feature ranks as the 8th highest grossing film of all time. A graduate of Cal Art’s Character Animation Program, Minkoff began his career with Disney as an animator, contributing character design and story development to the animated features “The Little Mermaid” and “Beauty and the Beast,” where he met and began to work with Hahn.
Minkoff directed the two Roger Rabbit shorts, “Tummy Trouble” and “Roller Coaster Rabbit.” He co-produced on the third Rabbit short, “Trail Mixup.” He ventured into the world of live action and animation with a short film for the Main Street Cinema at Walt Disney World, with “Mickey’s Big Break,” which included cameos by Mel Brooks and Angela Lansbury.
