Plot: The young Dutch artist Meneer Chrome (Ewan MacGregor) has been summoned to a secluded country estate, where the Thomas Smithers (Pete Postlewaithe) has commissioned an extravagant garden to be created. The instructions for its creation come from the evil Fitzmaurice (Richard E. Grant), whose true aim is to destroy Smithers financially with the garden, and steal away his beautiful wife Juliana (Greta Scacchi). Juliana has different ideas, however, as she herself lusts after the young architect.
