Scott Mosier in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001)
Producer and co-conspirator SCOTT MOSIER is Kevin Smith's partner in View Askew. He previously produced Smith's "Clerks," "Mallrats" and "Chasing Amy." At age 28, Mosier has established himself as gifted both behind and in front of the camera. He has appeared in all of Smith's films and also serves as co-editor of "Clerks," "Chasing Amy" and "Dogma." Mosier added the art of comic book-making to his repertoire, designing characters and storylines for Kmetko is so good at what he does, only he could play him, which he has done in such motion pictures as Warren Beatty's "Love Affair," "Dave," "Disney's The Kid," "2Gether" and Ben Stiller's forthcoming "Zoolander."
Prior to joining "E!," Kmetko was the entertainment correspondent for "CBS This Morning" and he also hosted the syndicated entertainment programs "Studio 22" and "The Rock n Roll Evening news." He segued into this form serving as an anchor and reporter at KCBS-TV in Los Angeles, where he won the Los Angeles Press Club Award for "Best Entertainment Reporting." Before moving to Los Angeles, Kmetko worked at WAVE-TV in Louisville, Kentucky and as sports director for WAEO-TV in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. He is a native of Chicago.
