Plot: This is a beautiful love story set in the older days in China. Ling Choi Sin is on his way to Kwok Pak Village when a rainstorm forces him to stay at the Lan Ro Temple for a night. He meets a beautiful lady ghost, Lit Siu Seen. They fall madly in love with each other. However, Lit is controlled by Lau Lau, a true vampire, to kill strong men to keep Lau Lau alive. Lit betrays Lau Lau and frees Ling. When Lit is chased after by Lau Lau, with the help of a Taoist Monk, Yin Chek Hsia, Ling sacrifices himself to save her.A rainstorm compelled Ling Choi Sin (Leslie Cheung) to trespass Lan Po Temple for a night on his way to Kwok Pak Village collecting debts. In the middle of the night, Ling is awakened by the bewitching music played by the feminine and attractive Lit Siu Seen (Wong Tsu Hsien). Ling is unaware that the resident Taoist Monk, Yin Chek Hsia (Wu Ma), has impeded Lit's murder attempt. Despite Yin's objection, the young couple are madly in love and decided to run away from the monastery...
