A prismatic dramatic investigation of the mysterious, officially unsolved murder of Spanish poet Federico Garcia Lorca, told through the eyes of an idealistic Puerto Rican journalist who vows--almost twenty years after the fact--to return to Spain and find out the truth. But he finds a culture still ashamed in its participation in fascism and afraid of the power of art. Based on the biographies "The Assasination of Federico Garcia Lorca" and "Federico Garcia Lorca: A Life," both by Ian Gibson.
