ASHLEY JUDD (Lexie) most recently starred in the box-office hit "Double Jeopardy," also starring Tommy Lee Jones and directed by Bruce Beresford, and the thriller "Eye of the Beholder," also starring Ewan McGregor and directed by Stephen Elliot.
An eighth generation Eastern Kentuckian, Judd first received international critical acclaim for her feature film debut in "Ruby in Paradise" directed by Victor Nunez. Judd's recent film credits include starring roles in "Simon Birch," directed by Mark Steven Johnson, and the box-office hit "Kiss the Girls," opposite Morgan Freeman, and directed by Gary Fleder.
Judd's other credits include "The Locusts," in which she co-starred opposite Vince Vaughn and Kate Capshaw, and Michael Mann's "Heat," for which she won critical acclaim opposite Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino and Val Kilmer. She has also appeared in Joel Schumacher's "A Time To Kill," with Samuel L. Jackson, Sandra Bullock and Matthew McConaughey, and starred opposite Luke Perry in John McNaughton's "Normal Life."
On television, Judd starred as Norma Jean in HBO's made-for-cable "Norma Jean & Marilyn," for which she received Emmy® and Golden Globe nominations.
Judd made her stage debut in the Naked Angels' production of "Busted," directed by Timothy Hutton. She then went on to star as Madge in the Broadway revival of William Inge's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, "Picnic," at the Roundabout Theatre, while simultaneously playing a supporting role in Wayne Wang's acclaimed film "Smoke."
Judd is a Phi Beta Kappa and Honors Program graduate of the University of Kentucky where she majored in French with four minors.
