Plot: Shown through a young girl's eyes, "That Night" is a story of first love and lost innocence in a Long Island suburb during the 1960s.

Lonely Alice Bloom is estranged from her family and enraptured by Cheryl, the beautiful high school girl across the street. Seemingly perfect Cheryl befriends her shy neighbor, but when Cheryl's father suddenly dies, her inner passions are aroused. Alice watches as Cheryl hooks up with Rick, a sexy biker from Queens -- exactly the kind of guy who's every mother's nightmare.

Alice is thrilled to have knowledge of their secret affair. But once Cheryl becomes pregnant, the entire town turns against the lovers. And when Cheryl's mother exiles her to an unwed mother's home, only Alice can help Rick find Cheryl once again.
