Genre: Comedy, Deception
Plot: Laurel and Hardy get into a load of trouble when they try to fool their wives in this classic comedy. The boys promise their fellow Sons of the Desert lodge members that they'll attend the organization's national convention in Chicago. But in order to go, they must first come up with a way to prevent their wives finding out... and it's not going to be easy. Luckily, they come up with a seemingly foolproof plan: Ollie pretends he's ill and the boys bribe a veterinarian to prescribe an ocean voyage to Hawaii as the only cure. Because Ollie's wife gets seasick, Stan volunteers to go with him, and the two are soon off --to Chicago for their convention, that is. Of course, their watertight alibi turns out to not be so watertight, when the ship they're supposed to be on sinks...
