Plot: IN THEATRES: FEBRUARY 1, 2002 (NY)A group of twentysomething friends living in Prague in the 1990s are the focus of LONERS, a romantic comedy directed by David Ondricek. Robert (Mikulas Kren) works in a tourist agency, arranging for Japanese visitors to view "typical" Czech pass times, such as watching a local family eat dinner. If this isn't odd enough, his bartender friend Vesna (Labina Mitevska) moved to Prague because she heard it was a good place to sight UFOs. The main character, however, is Hanka (Jitka Schneiderova) who dumped her radio-announcer boyfriend Peter (Sasa Rasilov), only to find herself in a love triangle with stalker Ondrej (Ivan Trojan) and stoner Jacob (Jiri Machacek).
