Plot: A simple boy from the country (Chan) travels to Hong Kong in the 1930s where he accidentally saves the life of a mob boss. He soon moves through the world of crime until he finds himself on top, where he has to fight off a rival gang, while falling in love with a beautiful nightclub singer. A loose Hong Kong remake of the classic Frank Capra film A POCKETFUL OF MIRACLES, featuring some of Chan's most charming and thrilling work.
