Gettysburg was a fantastic movie and was way better than that inaccurate Glory movie . The battle scenes were great as I saw this movie in the theaters a woman that sat next to me couldn't believe soldiers would actually walk right up to the cannons least to say she was shocked .
As to all those people who didn't like Martin Sheen as R.E.Lee I say phooey on you
he should've gotten an oscar for his potrayel funny that Gettysburg was ignored at the oscars. Sheen was way better than Duvall was also I thought Sheen actually looked liked Robert E. Lee than Duvall did let's hope Maxwell can get him back for last full measure.
And I did like Gods And Generals despite what the idiot critics said about the movie
