Plot: Several people are invited to attend the opening of a new movie theater. As the horror film is being shown, one of the hookers in the lobby tries on a metallic demon mask. The mask turns her into a demon, and she in turn begins to transform the other moviegoers into demons. The remaining guests begin the desperate battle for their lives, and only with the help of some gun-toting, coke-snorting punks, do they stand a chance to survive the deadly dance with the demons.Dario Argento and Lamberto Bava co-wrote this horror film, a huge European hit upon release. The film centers on two young girls who go to a brutal zombie movie and begin to notice happenings in theater mirroring the action on screen. Soon, half of the audience have been turned into blood thirsty zombies, forcing the remaining patrons to defend themselves from the unholy beasts.
