Plot: This collection features two new episodes that continue C.S. Forester's swashbuckling tales of sea hero Horatio Hornblower (Ioan Gruffudd). The setting is the 18th century, and the British are at war with Napoleon. Hornblower is an intellectual young midshipman who enters Her Majesty's Navy as a bullied recruit but quickly rises through the ranks to take command of his first ship and become a hero of the seas. In "Mutiny," Hornblower must deal with both Captain Sawyer (David Warner of TITANIC and TIME AFTER TIME)--who is brutally turning insane--and the Navy officials who want him court martialed and hanged. In "The Retribution," Hornblower faces an incompetent lieutenant replacement for Captain Sawyer and a difficult siege of an enemy fort.
