Plot: Blake Edwards' remake of Truffaut's "loveletter to women", stars Burt Reynolds as the obsessed lothario of the title -- a man who moves quickly and compulsively from one romantic encounter to another. Starting with his funeral, the film reveals his life to us through a series of flashbacks, all sharply narrated, with the requisite psycho-babble, by his frustrated female psychiatrist.
