Muscular entry works a lot better than expected and manages to stay watchable throughout thanks to the well done effects and steady direction by genre veteran Anthony Hickox. ... Sure it gets a little bit chaotic in the finale and Farrell isn't the greatest heroine, but it's still an entertaining follow-up. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
However, though it is my least favourite I still enjoyed it. ... in the end it stilll delivers and is excellent entertainment to those who enjoy this kind of horror. --Nyder Adams (ColdSpot)

Hands-down the best in the entire Hellraiser series... I like the pace, the effects, the overall feel of this movie better than parts 1 and 2.-- (eSplatter.com)
