Plot: Larry Drake (L.A. LAW, DARKMAN) stars as a doctor gone mad in this horror flick that combines gore and humor. Dr. Evan Rendell is the new doctor in town with a case of the giggles and a dark secret. Seeking revenge on the town that imprisoned his father, he starts "sacrificing" patients in order to save Jennifer Campbell (Holly Marie Combs of SIMPLE MEN, TV's CHARMED.)

Director Manny Coto is a veteran of TV frightfests such as TALES FROM THE CRYPT and THE OUTER LIMITS.

external linkWith less a jokey tone and more focus on the slashing this could've been much better than the so-so flick it turned out to be. 2/4

external linkA cult classic that belongs in every true slasher fans DVD collection even if the DVD is pretty hard to find since it's out of print. With a cheesy plot this movie goes straight to our hearts. 3/5
